Dr. Paul-Brian McInerney earned his degree from Columbia University in 2006.  He joins the faculty of the Sociology Department after having taught at the University of Indiana, South Bend.  Dr. McInerney joins us as an Assistant Professor and will be teaching Sociology of Work and Organizations.

Andy Clarno is finishing his PhD at the University of Michigan with a dissertation titled, "The Empire's New Walls: Sovereignty, Neo-Liberalization and the Constitution of Urban Space in Post-Apartheid South Africa and Post-Oslo Palestine/Israel".  In the fall, Clarno will be teaching for the Sociology and African American Studies Departments as a visiting Lecturer.

Dr. Claire Laurier Decoteau joins us as an Assistant Professor this fall.  Claire earned her PhD at the University of Michigan.  Her dissertation is titled, "The Bio-Politics of HIV/AIDs in Post-Apartheid South Africa".  Claire will be teaching undergraduate and graduate social theory, as well as Medical Sociology.
